A personal exploration into the design of a contemporary audio device, imagined as a modern take on the early MP3 player. The concept combines a bold and minimal product language with nostalgic references to the objects that shaped portable music. Developed entirely as a self-initiated project, the work explored the object from scratch, from 3D modeling and materials to lighting, interface and composition. A series of polished visuals was created to highlight its form, details and interface while imagining how a familiar device could feel relevant again today.
The result
A self-initiated concept that reframes the portable music player as a contemporary object — bold, minimal, and still nostalgic. The result is a series of polished 3D visuals that make the device feel tangible before it ever exists.
